Cathédrale Saint-Trophime, Arles (France)

This survey serie was leaded within the context of the various experimentations carried out on the Apero and MicMac softwares, during a tour in Arles (France).

The objective was to generate a 3D-model and an orthophotography of the building's main façade.

The church is located on the town hall square, in the hole center of the conservation area. It was built between the fifth and the eigth century, and has received until now many restoration campaigns.

The acquisition was made with the NIKON D3X (24 megapixels) and a 24-85mm lens. About forty photographies were taken to describe precisely the hole wall and the various architectural elements on it.

The final 3D-model gathers a dozen of point-clouds.
