Orthophotographies, Arles (France)

This survey was made on the occasion of a tour in Arles, still within the context of the various experimentations made on Apero and MicMac. The objective was to acquire several façades in the city center, and to generate an orthophotography for each of them. The chosen buildings were:

- la Tour de l’Ecorchoir

- le Palais des Podestats (outer layer and inner courtyard)

  1. -the archaeological remains of the surrounding walls

The acquisition was made with the NIKON D3X (24 megapixels) and a 24mm lens. The four surveys contain a hundred photographies. Beyond the technical matters mentioned in this case study, the main interest is to generate detailed orthophotographies of façades from a few photos.
