Eglise Saint-Jacques-le-Majeur, Fontains (France)

This survey was made during the first testing phase conducted within the MAP laboratory. The objective was to test the abilities of Apero and MicMac to generate complete point clouds of a large size building, from a significant number of photographies.

The acquisition was made with the Canon EOS 5D Mark II (21 megapixels), and three different lens: 24, 35 and 50mm (for the distant areas of the church, such as the bell tower.)

The survey concerns exclusively the outer layer of the building.

The whole acquisition consists of two hundred photographies, and the final 3D-model gathers twenty-seven point clouds.
